UPDATE: Humanitarian Aid Stalled: Support Needed to Resolve Border Dispute

The generosity and offers of assistance from the Polish people is quite amazing and humbling. People who do not know you reaching out to help is testament to why Poland is such an awesome country to be in……the Polish Border Customs bureaucracy is something completely different.

Despite having the paperwork which government departments stated we should have – it appears that Polish Border Customs work in a vacuum. We witnessed their abilities to help other drivers navigate the RPMD (SENT) paperwork system – their refusal to assist a humanitarian organisation deliver much needed life saving equipment to firefighters in Ukraine is disappointing and quite frankly the opposite of what we have experienced from members of the public in Poland.

We are fighting to get the 3 fire engines released without fine – as this will stop SERA delivering equipment and vehicles in 2025 as we have no funding from the UK Home Office like other charities – but we need your help.

We desperately want to continue supporting firefighters in Ukraine in 2025 so we need to resolve this without a fine and release the fire engines #releasetheengines
